Future Prospect

1. Along with economic liberalization and market opening, businesses have gradually moved toward internationalization, multi-nationalization and globalization. Traditional ideas of management have proved incapable of dealing with challenges provided by the future. The Department's educational mission meets the developmental trends and needs of our national identity and social structure. The Department's faculty, equipment, book collection and research are being increasingly augmented, signifying a bright future, and the talents fostered are expected to receive positive comments from industries. The future prospects for the development of the Department are rather favorable.
2. Teachers of the Department have formed teaching study units based on their diverse specialties and interests, dedicating themselves to continuous improvement of teaching quality. They simultaneously engage in exchanges with renowned domestic and foreign universities and academic institutions, to contribute to the innovation and development of academic research in the field of international business administration in Taiwan.
3. To respond to the need for internationalization, our curriculum design places an emphasis on the introduction of other international societies and cultures. During their study, students of the Department are able to maintain close interactive relations with the practical business sector through various channels such as consultation services, conferences and seminars, cooperative research, internship and visits, as well as placement consultation and alumni contact. Afterwards, they will also be able to serve in various domestic and foreign industries, working on management jobs like investment, planning, marketing, finance, accounting, personnel, as well as many others, so as to facilitate cultural exchanges and enhance international cooperation.
4. As for features of the Department's future development, there are five main points as below:
(1) Considering development in both localization and globalization.
(2) Emphasizing incubation of foreign language ability and information skills.
(3) Valuing training on international business practice and commercial negotiation ability.
(4) Aiming to nurture full-scale international business administrative talents.
(5) Reinforcing consultation provided to students in sitting for related certification examinations, to increase their competitiveness in career placement.
